Company History

The company has grown by investing its considerable engineering skills to develop a range of custom technology solutions as well as engaging in specialist circuit board manufacture for a range of customers.

During 2006 and 2007 the company invested in R&D to develop a range of high spec military grade panel personal computers that are marketed by Forges Limited and in which EGS Technologies has a 50% interest.

During 2008 EGS Technologies acquired the share capital of EGS Solutions Limited (EGSS). EGSS was a consulting services and solutions company founded in 2005 by two engineers. Specifically EGSS utilises RFID technology integrated with various hardware platforms incorporating proprietary software developed by EGS Technologies to allow customers to improve the efficiency of asset tracking and management.
