EGS specialises in electronic and software solutions design and manufacture. The key to the success of EGS is the range and depth of the technical skills available within the company. These skills encompass Electronic Design, Software Design (both embedded and PC) and Mechanical design. EGS can also offer a manufacturing capability which allows the company to offer a complete design and supply service for OEM's requiring electronic products.
The organisation currently has two main areas of business -
- Electronic Design and Manufacturing:
- High end circuit system and circuit board design
- Custom carrier card (motherboard) design for RadiSys COM Express Modules (see our RadiSys page)
- Custom Electronic Design particularly in the field of Human / Machine Interface systems
- Design and manufacture of of ruggedised 'military standard' Panel PCs and monitors
- Asset Management:
- The use of RFID technology integrated with various hardware platforms incorporating software written by EGS to allow customers to manage their assets in ways that have previously not been possible
- Custom Software Design particularly in manufacturing industry
